HMK® R65
Terra Cotta Cleaner
For Professional Use Only

APPLICATION:
A heavy duty, fast-acting, dilute acid type cleaner for unglazed terra cotta, Mexican pavers, quarry tile, and brick pavers. HMK® R65 thoroughly removes dirt, grout/cement residue, lime deposit, efflorescence, and rust from all unglazed surfaces. Special inhibitors control oxidation of vanadium salts, manganese, pyrite and other metallic deposits commonly found in clay tile and brick. Avoid contact with metal; acid/fumes will cause etching.

DIRECTIONS:
Protect all adjacent non-masonry surfaces. Do a manageable area at a time. Thoroughly wet area to be cleaned. Apply R65 full strength or diluted 1:3 - 1:10 with water depending on situation. Immediately scrub with stiff bristle brush or white/tan polyester pad, quickly rinsing with water until solution is completely removed. For the removal of light construction dirt use HMK® R55 Intensive Cleaner/Grout Film Remover.

COVERAGE:
200 sqft., 18 square meters at full strength, 800 sqft. up to 2,500 sqft., 70-225 square meters per 1 liter (34 oz.) container diluted.

WARNING:
Chemical product. Contains Inhibited Dilute Formic Acid. Corrosive. Avoid eye/skin contact. If exposed, wash/flush with water. Keep out of reach of children. See Material Safety Data Sheet.

PACKAGING:
1 liter cans (34 oz.) 12 per case, 5 liter cans (5.68 qts.) 4 per case.

STORAGE:
Store in a cool place. Keep lid tightly closed.

TESTING:
Always test procedure first in an inconspicuous area to determine dilution rate, performance, visual appearance, and acting time.
