HMK® P30
Terra Cotta Oil
Terra Cotta, Brick Pavers, Clay Tile
APPLICATION:
Specially modified paraffin oils for the protection of all types
of unglazed terra cotta, Mexican pavers, clay tile, and brick
pavers. Also suitable for honed limestone. Not for use on exteriors
or wet areas. HMK® P30 penetrates the tile and enhances
its color, leaving a matte finish on the surface. P30 is scuff
resistant, slip retardant, and protects against the infiltration
of dirt and stains.
IMPORTANT: HMK® P28
must follow 24-48 hour after P30 application. Allow P30
to cure for 48 hours prior to P28 application.
DIRECTIONS:
Apply HMK® P30 in an even application to a clean and dry surface
with HMK® Z170-171 Sealing Brushes, or a lint free cloth.
To achieve saturation two applications or more may be needed depending
on porosity of the tile. HMK® P30 should be re-applied periodically
or as needed. Use HMK® P24 Liquid Stone Soap for daily maintenance
and HMK¨ R55 for periodic through cleaning. P30 may be stripped
with R80. For some denser stones, P30 should be allowed to penetrate
the surface undisturbed for 6-12 hours. Remove excess P30 with
a solution of water and P24 Liquid Stone Soap and some towels.
COVERAGE:
55-110 sqft., 5-10 square meters per 1 liter (34 oz.) container.
WARNING:
Chemical product. Contains Special Paraffinic Oils. Use with adequate
ventilation. Avoid eye/skin contact. If exposed wash/flush
with water. Keep out of reach of children. See Material Safety
Data Sheet.
PACKAGING:
1 liter cans (34 oz.) 12 per case, 5 liter cans (5.68 qts.) 4 per
case.
STORAGE:
Store in cool place. Keep lid tightly closed.
TESTING:
Always test procedure first in an inconspicuous area to determine
number of applications needed, performance, and visual appearance.
