Terra Cotta Wax
Terra Cotta, Brick Pavers, Clay Tile

APPLICATION:
A modified wax stain which produces a highly protective finish for all types of unglazed terra cotta, Mexican and brick pavers, and clay tile. Also suitable for absorbent, honed limestone. Not for use on exteriors or wet areas. HMK® P28 slightly enhances the stone's texture and color while adding a satin sheen to the surface. should be applied 24-48 hours after use of P30. P28 is available in light or dark and can be mixed prior to application to achieve desired color.

IMPORTANT: HMK® P26 Terra Cotta Care must follow use of P28 to blend in any P28 unevenness. Allow P28 to cure 24 hours prior to P26 application.

DIRECTIONS:
Apply HMK® P28 thinly and evenly to clean and dry surface with HMK® Z170-171 Sealing Brushes, a roller, or white terry cloth. Do a manageable area at a time. To achieve saturation two or more applications may be needed depending on porosity of the tile (slight build-up). Immediately after application, work P28 into the surface using a brush, or white terry cloth for small areas, and the HMK® Z202 Polishing-Vac or a regular floor machine (175-300 rpm using tampico or white/tan polyester pad) for large areas. When floor feels dry to touch, buff to a higher shine (175-1500 rpm with white polyester pad) Reapply P28 periodically or as needed. Use HMK¨ P24 Liquid Stone Soap for daily maintenance and HMK® R55 Intensive Cleaner for periodic thorough cleaning. P28 may be stripped with HMK® R80. Do not apply at temperatures below 60o F. Shake well before use.

COVERAGE:
55-110 sqft., 5-10 square meters per 1 liter (34 oz.) container.

WARNING:
Chemical product. Turpentine Substitute. Flammable. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid eye/skin contact. If exposed flush/wash with water. Keep out of reach of children. See Material Safety Data Sheet.

PACKAGING:
1 liter cans (34 oz.) 12 per case, 5 liter cans (5.68 qts.) 4 per case.

STORAGE:
Store in cool place. Keep lid tightly closed.

TESTING:
Always test procedure first in an inconspicuous area to determine number of coats needed, performance, and visual appearance.
