HMK®
P26
Terracotta Care
Self
glossing treatment for unglazed terracotta, brick pavers, and
clay tiled floors. Reduces the penetration of
water and dirt. Solvent free. For interior use only.
HMK® P26 is a modified water base acrylic
conditioner and maintenance sealer/cleaner that enriches the
color and structure of unglazed terracotta, brick and clay tiled
floors and gives a brilliant silky shine to the surface without
the need for polishing. HMK® P26 develops a
protective film that, with regular use, increases water and dirt
resistance and makes textured and rough surfaces more resilient
to heavy use and easier to care for. The protective film can be
removed and surfaces can be refreshed periodically with HMK®
R55 Intensive Cleaner.
Important:
When using HMK® P28, HMK® P26 Terracotta
Care must follow application to blend in any HMK® P28
unevenness. Allow HMK® P28 to cure for 48 hours prior
to P26 application.
Important:
Clean
the surface thoroughly and let it dry (max residual moisture of
2-4%). If under floor heating exists, switch it off and allow
the surface to cool.
Instructions:
Shake well before use. For first time application, dilute HMK®
P26 about 1:5 with clean water and apply thinly and evenly
using a clean non fraying cloth, sponge or mop, wringing the
applicator frequently in
the same solution. Do not re-mop or rinse areas once cleaned.
Replace the solution when it becomes dirty. For very absorbent
surfaces, use a more concentrated mixture. Buff to higher shine
using a regular floor machine with a lambswool pad at 900-1,500
rpm. To clean
surface thoroughly before treatment, use HMK® R55
Intensive Cleaner. The shine is maintained if you occasionally
add 1/2 cup of HMK® P26 for every 2
1/2
gallons
of wash water. Use HMK® P24 Liquid Stone Soap for
daily cleaning and alternate with HMK® P26 twice
weekly or as needed.
Coverage:
About 500 to 1100 square feet per liter
Warning:
Chemical product. Keep out of the reach of children and safe
from frost. Do not
use the product in temperatures below 50 and above 80°F.

12 x 1L bottles per box; 2 x 5L bottles per box
Storage:
Store in a cool place.
Testing: Always test the product in an inconspicuous area to
evaluate suitability, coverage and performance.
