HMK® R77
Rust Remover
For Professional Use Only

APPLICATION:
A heavy duty, dilute acid type cleaner for all rough/textured, and honed stone and masonry surfaces, both interior and exterior. HMK® R77 dissolves and removes rust, delaying, in most cases preventing, it's reformation. HMK® S31 Silane Impregnator is recommended to further prevent oxidation and rusting. Do not use on polished surfaces, with the exception of polished granite. R77 can darken stone (polished granite especially). It is recommended entire area be cleaned first with HMK® R55 Intensive Cleaner and water Avoid contact with metal; acid/fumes will cause etching.

DIRECTIONS:
Protect all adjacent non-masonry surfaces. Do a manageable area at a time. Apply full strength and evenly to dry surface. Allow to act until rust disappears, this may require several hours.

Note: During acting time protect from water. However, Keep surface wet with R77. Do not let R77 dry on the surface, for it may cause discoloration. Repeated applications may be needed. Scrubbing may be helpful. When stains are removed rinse thoroughly. First rinse should be a flood rinse. Second rinse should be a neutralizing rinse using a solution of HMK® R55 Intensive Cleaner and water.

COVERAGE:
60-80 sqft., 5.5-7.5 square meters per 1 liter (34 oz.) container .

WARNING:
Chemical product. Contains Inhibited Dilute Phosphoric Acid. Corrosive. Avoid eye/skin contact. If exposed, wash/flush with water, and get medical attention. Follow appropriate safety precautions when dealing with corrosives. At all times wear protective gear (gloves, masks, boots, etc.). Keep out of reach of children. See Material Safety Data Sheet.

PACKAGING:
1/2 liter cans (17 oz.) 20, 1 liter cans (34 oz.) 12 per case, 5 liter cans (5.68 qts.) 4 per case.

STORAGE:
Store in cool place. Keep lid tightly closed.

TESTING:
Always test procedure first in an inconspicuous area to determine dilution rate, performance, visual appearance, and acting time so as not to harm the stone, since HMK® R77 is highly acidic.
